Vienna

Went to Vienna on work official business. At that time it was early winter, so got the opportunity to walk on snow, again, after several decades.  (Last time was in the USA during my college years). Have to take train (subway?) to work for several days. Walk through snow in early morning to reach the station. In the train, I would say Vienna is a multi-national city. You would meet many people from all walks of life, different races and nationalities. Meals.. not a problem,  just go any restaurant or foodstall and there are halal food for muslim or just ask for fish of any kind of dish.

Here are some pics, sorry from the net… I misplaced mine. Just to give you some views of the trains, snow and the city…

Wonderland ?

The first time my daughter mentioned about Melaka Wonderland, I thought it is sort of like Disneyland, out of the world theme park.. To my surprise... it is another wet world... water theme park..  Again it is in Malaca.. near crocodile farm and Malaca Zoo...

They have attraction such as tornado chaser, kamikaze race, big wave etc..

The tornado, you'll go in circle so many times that you might get dizzy before "swallowed" into the center exit... backward or forward.. read more at  http://www.melakawonderland.com.my/?id=7

Rama -rama

Just after the exit at Air Keroh from North South Highway you will not miss the Taman Rama-Rama.. I think it is near the new Hotel Phileo.. if i'm not mistaken.. It is a place where you could enjoy the presence and company of species of butterfly... flying around.. decorated with nice landscape and koi pond. I had the video with butterflies flying around, but I'll just share the still pics here.

Notice the butterflies .... bugs, spiders and the scorpion

Flying Saucers

This was the flying saucers we boarded from the launching pad known as Dataran Pahlawan (transl: warrior square).

When it was ascending the saucers revolved slowly...

and we could see the scenery below... and the pic shows eye-on-Malacca from a distant...

:) it was the revolving Taming Sari Tower.. in Malacca (Taming Sari - the legendary kris of Hang Tuah - the famous warrior during Malacca Sultanate period)
